Nairmal Grama Puraskar: Considering JST’s outstanding work in sanitation, Government of India has bestowed the prestigious Nirmal Gram Puraskar to JST in the year 2007.
Rajyotsava District award: Received in the year-2014
Dalapada Ratna Award: Founder Trustees Mr. Sheena Shetty and Mr Krishna Moolya were awarded Dalapada Ratna from Karnataka Dalapada Authority of Mysore in 2003.
Ombudsman with a deference: Considering the good work and the credential of the Trust, Government has appointed Mr. N. Sheena Shetty, Chief Functionary of the Trust as Ombudsman for MGNREGS for the period of 4 years. He has built D.K. District Ombudsman institution with a difference.
SACOSAN : Government of India nominated Mr .Sheena Shetty as Indian delegate for the South Asian Conference on Sanitation(SACOSAN-2) held in Islamabad in the year -2006.
NGP Verification Agency: Department of Rural Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India had recognised JST as the Nirmal Gram Puraskar applications verification Agency. Accordingly Trust had had carried out the verification work in 250 Grama Panchayaths in the State of Gujarath during the year 2007.
Nodal NGO: Council for Advancement of Peoples Action & Rural Technology (CAPAT) MoRD, GOI had recognised JST as one of Nodal NGO to implement the Rural Sanitation Project and create the data base of the NGO’s of Dakshina Kannad District( 2007-8, 2008-9).
